Pork Roast (freely ranged pork) - This pork is from Ian Smith in Argyle, MB! This is a shoulder roast, which contains more fat and will need to be cooked longer and lower temperature. Once thawed, it can be cooked in the oven at 300 degrees. It can be seasoned or cooked with onions and apples. This type of roast can also be slow cooked and then shredded for pulled pork. Here's a recipe to follow by Jamie Oliver: 6 Hour Slow Roasted Pork! Beef Patties (grass fed beef) - This beef is from Spring Creek Farms! These beef patties are very lean and thin, so they will need to be fully thawed before cooking. All they need is a few minutes per side on the barbecue and they€™re done! They can also be cooked in a pan. Pair these burgers with a simple salad or roasted veggies and you€™ve got yourself an easy dinner. Chicken Thighs (freely run chicken) - These chicken thighs are from Waldner Meats in Niverville, MB! These chicken thighs are tender and they can be used similar to chicken breasts in just about everything! They can be marinated and cooked on the barbeque, cooked with rice in the oven, sautéed in a cream sauce or cooked and chopped up for santé fe salads, tacos, wraps, etc.
