Gourmet Protein Shares to Receive a Minimum of 2 of the Following Items:

Trout Fillets (sustainably fished)- This fish is from Watersong Farms in Warren, MB! Trout is a freshwater fish similar to salmon. However, unlike salmon it€™s not farmed which is much more sustainable for the freshwater fisheries. These fillets can be cooked similar to many other fish: pan-fried, in the oven or barbequed. Light flavours such as butter, dill, or other herbs compliment the flavour of this fish. My favorite way to cook it is on a piece of tin foil on the BBQ brushed with olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon. You can try a similar recipe for Trout with Garlic Lemon Butter Herb Sauce! Bison New York Steaks (Freely Ranged, Grass Fed) €“ Bison steaks are from Swan Lake First Nation. The New York strip steak comes from the short loin of the bison, behind the ribs. It€™s tender with a medium fat content and delicious meaty flavour. This cut of meat can be grilled or cooked on a skillet. Here€™s a recipe for New York Steaks with a Terragon Sauce!
