Trout Fillets (sustainably fished)- This fish is from Watersong Farms in Warren, MB! Trout is a freshwater fish similar to salmon. However, unlike salmon it€™s not farmed which is much more sustainable for the freshwater fisheries. These fillets can be cooked similar to many other fish: pan-fried, in the oven or barbequed. Light flavours such as butter, dill, or other herbs compliment the flavour of this fish. My favorite way to cook it is on a piece of tin foil on the BBQ brushed with olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon. You can try a similar recipe for Trout with Garlic Lemon Butter Herb Sauce!
