Once thawed they can be cooked whole on the barbecue, or chopped up for a spicy pasta dish, one pan wonder with vegetables, or sauté with peppers and onions. Another idea is these quick and easy Italian Sausage Quesadillas! Chicken Garlic Sausage (freely run chicken) - These sausages come from Watersong Farms in Warren, MB! These can be used in a similar way; cook them with pasta and broccoli, grill with vegetables, chop them up for a soup, or roast with potatoes and onions. Here's a recipe you can use your kale and sausage in: Sweet Potato, Kale and Sausage Bake! Pulled Pork (free range pork) - This pork is from Zinn Farms in Springstein, MB! This pork roast is ideal for pulled pork. Once thawed, place the whole thing in the slow cooker with some sauce and cook for 4-5 hours! The longer and slower it cooks, the more tender the pork will be, and easier to shred. Once shredded, put some barbecue sauce on, make a quick coleslaw and you've got a great meal!
